Step 1: access your personal portal
After you’ve made your down payment, you’ll receive an email with activation instructions for your personal and secure Americans Overseas online portal. This activation link is valid for 24 hours. Once you create your password, you can log in anytime using the button at the top right of the website menu.
Step 2: fill out your Tax Organizers
Inside your portal, you’ll find 6 “Tax Organizers” in your dossier. This is a form you need to complete per year and submit to us online. It’s a good idea to do this as soon as possible, as waiting times can get longer during the year. If you can’t submit it within 2 months of making your down payment, please let us know so we can work out a new deadline with you.
After submission we will check the documents for completeness, if something is missing you will get the chance to correct this.
Step 3: Review and approve
The US accountant prepares a draft, which we’ll provide you with, together with our invoice. Once you’re satisfied with the draft, you’ll pay the invoice for our services.
Step 4: Submit your Streamlined Procedure
You’ll receive the final documents, with a clear instruction on how to send them to the IRS.
Are you unsure about the information to provide, do you need clarification about income tax already paid, or do you have other questions? We are just a message or phone call away.

You can absolutely send us your completed Tax Organizers, even if you haven't received your Social Security Number (SSN) yet. This way, we can review all the information you've provided in advance, and you'll only need to add your SSN later. This makes the process smoother, and we can promptly have your documents prepared without any unnecessary delays. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to give us a call. We're here to help!
The Streamlined Procedure including 2023 can only be filed between June 16, 2024, and June 15, 2025. After that, you'll be considered "Compliant" and will need to file a tax return each year, starting with the 2024 tax year. The deadline for the regular 2024 annual tax return is also June 15, 2025, and you can't file it until you've completed and filed your Streamlined Procedure. For that reason we ask you to submit the 2024 tax organizer as soon as possible to us as well. However, to avoid any problems, we can request an extension for your 2024 annual return with the IRS, allowing you to file it by October 15, 2025.
1. We receive your down payment for the 2024 annual return before May 15, 2025. 2. Your Social Security Number (SSN) information and your address are correctly entered under "US Person" in the "My Contact Information" section of your online account with us. 3. Your Streamlined Procedure was filed before June 15, 2025.
We ask you to submit your Streamlined Tax organizers within 2 months, allowing you to complete your Streamlined Procedure and file it as soon as possible (between June 16, 2025, and before June 15, 2026). This timeline should give you ample time to file your first annual Return for 2025 directly after that (which also needs to be filed before June 15, 2026, though an extension until October 15 is possible). If the 2-month deadline doesn't work for you, please reach out to us, and we can explore alternative options.
A Streamlined Procedure has a restricted filing window with the IRS, and can only be submitted after the tax years are fully expired. This means that a Streamlined Procedure up and including 2023 can only be filed between June 16th, 2024 and June 15th, 2025. A Streamlined Procedure up and including 2024 can only be filed between June 16th, 2025 and June 15th, 2026.
